Yes. The Batik Discovery Experience is beginner friendly and perfect for travelers who want to learn traditional Indonesian batik in a relaxed and guided setting. No previous art experience is needed.

Five Arts Atelier offers two batik experiences. The Batik Discovery Experience takes approximately 3 hours, while the Batik Immersion Experience takes approximately 6 hours for guests who want a deeper creative journey.

The batik experience includes all batik tools and materials, cotton fabric, traditional canting tools, hot wax, personal guidance from local artists, welcome drink, tea, coffee, Balinese snacks, and your finished artwork to take home.

Batik Discovery is a 3-hour introduction to traditional batik, suitable for beginners and curious travelers. Batik Immersion is a 6-hour experience designed for art lovers who want to explore more detailed techniques, layering methods, composition, and a deeper creative process.

Yes. Complimentary pickup and drop-off are available around the Ubud center area. Guests can confirm pickup details when making a reservation.
